Faculty Footnotes: rearrange

This “blog” was created by Cal State East Bay CFA members to provide a forum for the free and respectful exchange of ideas with regard to budget cuts, reorganization plans, contract negotiations, layoffs, administration decisions, shared governance, political strategies, activism, and other faculty concerns at Cal State East Bay.

We think of this blog as a community exercise in participatory democracy. Too often, information circulates in closed circles and we believe that everyone will benefit from a more open discussion. We created this blog as a place to disseminate information, develop analyses, express concerns, and propose solutions.

We invite each CSUEB faculty member to use the blog as a space to share what is happening in your department, college, committee, etc. Use this space to voice your opinion. All points of view are welcome!

Ground rules: All faculty are encouraged to participate in the discussion, either by becoming a "contributor" or by posting comments to blog entries. While we will not moderate or censor any faculty's input, we ask you to keep the tone respectful. Differences of opinion and points of view are encouraged; however, please refrain from personal attacks.

Note: Opinions on the blog do not necessarily reflect the view of CFA local members or the Eboard.
